Virtual Classes for Kids
Our “Virtual Classes & Events” will feature online classes and events that you can watch from home. Some of the events will be broadcast live, others (with permission of the presenters) will be recorded and made available to watch anytime. We’re using the popular Zoom platform. If you haven’t used Zoom on your computer or mobile device before, you’ll be prompted to download the small app the first time you try and connect to a Zoom presentation. If you need technical assistance, you can always reach out to our new Virtual Time with a Tech service, and either Jen or Bob will get back to you.
* Please note: All upcoming live virtual classes & events are limited to Emma Clark patrons. After registering with a valid Emma Clark Library barcode number, you will receive a invitation email containing information about joining the event, so be sure to check your email. (If you do not provide a valid barcode number during registration you will NOT receive an invitation).

For children ages 3 yrs – 2nd Grade
We all miss the Library, but now we can bring the Librarians into your home, virtually of course. Have some one-on-one time with your favorite librarian. We’ll read some stories to your kids, they can show us what they have read at home or even read to us. They can show us their favorite toys, stuffed animals, knick knacks, pets, songs, etc… It’s similar to a Show-and-Tell session that takes place through the popular “Zoom” platform. Email your request to talk virtually with one of the Librarians in the Children’s Department at email@example.com. In the email request which Librarian you would like to “hang out” with (if you have a preference), along with your preferred day and time.
