Kids Bookmark Contest!

2026 marks the 11th year of the beloved Kids Bookmark Contest at Emma Clark Library! The contest asks children living in the Three Village Central School District from Kindergarten through 5th grade to design original bookmarks for library patrons.

Winners will be announced on May 1, 2026 and will receive a small trophy and the incredible honor of having their bookmarks professionally printed. Community members may then take home a copy of one or more of the winning bookmarks!

Or if you prefer, stop by the Children’s Reference Desk for a copy. There is a limit of 1 entry per child. 

The entry deadline is March 31, 2026. Winners will be chosen in three categories (K –1st, 2nd & 3rd, and 4th & 5th grades) and announced on May 1. All contestants’ entries are displayed in the Children’s Department for visitors to view.
