Upcoming Community Service Programs for Children
Washi Tape Bookmarks for Senior Citizens (Grades 3 – 5)
Wednesday, June 3, 4:30–5:30 p.m.
Join us to make colorful, decorated bookmarks for our “Senior Bus” patrons. It’s a simple, creative way to bring smiles and brighten someone’s day! Participants will earn one hour of community service credit. Click here to register starting 5/20
Volunteer at Hobbs Farm (Bethel Hobbs Farm, Centereach) (Grades 3 – 5)
Tuesday, June 23, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. (School Closed)
Kids will help with various farm tasks such as weeding beds, planting seeds, and picking produce. Dress for a mess and for the weather! In the event of extreme weather, this program may be rescheduled or cancelled. Please note this program is off site and parents/caregivers (over the age of 18) must stay with their child at the farm. Cards for Hospitalized Kids (Grades 3 – 5)
Wednesday, June 24, 4:00–5:00 p.m.
Help brighten a child’s day! Join us to make uplifting cards for hospitalized kids. Participants will earn one hour of community service credit. Click here to register starting 6/10.
Take & Make: Shell-ebrate Kindness (Grades 3 – 5)
Monday, July 6
Help spread positivity throughout Three Village! Kids will pick up a shell, decorate it with kind and encouraging messages, and place it somewhere for others to discover. It’s a simple, creative way to make our community a little kinder. Pick up your shell kit starting Mon., July 6. Participants should take a photo of their finished shell and where they placed it, then email it to marcela@emmaclark.org by Fri., July 31. Participants will earn two hours of community service credit after submitting their photo. Only one shell kit per child. Reserve your kit here starting 7/6.
Hygiene Kits for People in Need (Grades 3 – 5)
Wednesday, July 8, 4:00–5:00 p.m.
Join us to make hand stenciled decorative pouches filled with basic necessities for people in need. Participants will earn one hour of community service credit. Register here starting 7/1
Birthday Banners & Cards for Kids (Grades 3 – 5)
Wednesday, July 22, 4:00–5:00 p.m.
Help us make cheerful birthday banners and cards for kids who are spending their birthdays in the hospital. It’s a thoughtful way to spread joy and help them celebrate. Participants will earn one hour of community service credit. Register here starting 7/15

Tote Bags for Supply Drives (Grades 3 – 5)
Wednesday, August 19, 4:00–5:00 p.m.
Join us for a fun and creative tote bag decorating session! Kids will get to design colorful, one-of-a-kind bags that will be used for library supply drives. It’s a great way to get crafty and give back to the community! Participants will earn one hour of community service credit. Register here starting 8/12
