Winter Reading Challenge 2026
From Babies to 5th grade, join our Children’s Winter Reading Challenge! It runs from Monday, January 12 – Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Pre-Readers: For children who have books read to them. Goal is at least 10 books with their grown-up.
New Readers: For children who are just starting or have only recently begun to read by themselves. Goal is at least 5 books on their reading level.
Confident Readers: For children who read on their own. Goal is at least 2 books on your reading level.
Upon completing the challenge, you earn a special prize and an electronic raffle ticket for a chance to win tickets to The Rinx and a gift certificate to the Level Up Kitchen Library Café.
Beginning Monday, Feb. 9, all kids who reach their goal can come into the Library to pick up their prize bag and reading certificate.
Winter Reading Club ends on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
