Help Us with Our Scarecrow!
Kids, be a part of the Emma S. Clark Library’s official entry for The Ward Melville Heritage Organization’s Annual Scarecrow Competition! Simply color a page at home and hand it in at the Children’s Reference Desk before September 19. We’ll laminate it and attach it to our scarecrow.

Setauket Elementary is the winner of the Emma Cup for this year’s Summer Reading Challenge! Congratulations to Setauket and to all the kids who participated and completed the challenge! You all earned a completion prize and collectively, you read a total of 16,851 books this summer! We are proud of you all!

Juggling Workshop!
Learn to juggle with Kenny Mikey, a former Ringling Bros. clown!
Kenny will teach you the five “Ps” of juggling: Patience, Persistence, Practice, Positive Attitude, and P-fun! You’ll start by juggling scarves, then learn how to make your own juggling balls. No scarves? No problem! You can use plastic grocery bags. And the balls are made from balloons and birdseed. You’ll have a“ball” in this fun, interactive workshop.

The Emma S Clark Library has partnered with Page Turner Adventures, an Emmy-Award Winning team known for bringing stories to life with their comedic approach at libraries, schools and theaters across the world. This 8 week Virtual Summer Program is geared towards children in grades K-3, but fun for all.
There will be comedy shows, crafts, recipes, children’s book author interviews, guest performers, contests, games, and much more. Each week will have a new theme and a new program for each weekday. If you miss a day, that’s okay! We will keep all the links up until September 7th.
